Morgan & Adrienne
Morgan started painting furniture out of necessity. As a poor college student, her first "bedroom set" was a $200 MCM suite from a 2nd hand furniture shop in Donora, Pennsylvania. It needed some love, and although she has moved on from painting anything MCM, she was hooked on transforming pieces.
Nine years, seven desk jobs, a husband and baby later, Morgan started Vintage In Bloom as a means to "rescue" and rehome painted pieces, as well as all things antique, vintage, rusty and industrial. In late 2016, Morgan took over Stone House Vintage Market and gave Vintage In Bloom a new home. After 2 years of individual success, Adrienne came to Vintage in Bloom to work and eventually became Morgan's partner and Co-Owner in July of 2019.
Adrienne is an artist and general craftswoman. Coming from a woodworking and furniture restoration background, mixing paint and vintage came naturally. Balancing life with 2 kids, a husband, a dog and 2,439 plants isn't always easy, but Adrienne usually makes it fun! With a passion for sharing art, Adrienne LOVES to share her paint knowledge and color theory with all who are interested. You can usually find her covered in paint, brush in hand and laughing loudly in the workshop.
Our vision for Vintage In Bloom is to give our customers access to everything they need to transform their houses into homes; including old and new home decor pieces, painted furniture, and the courage & confidence to become painters/creators themselves.
